JCB 540-170 · JCB 535-125
Telehandler rental in Abu Dhabi
Two JCB Loadall classes: the 540-170 reaching 16.7 m at 4,000 kg, and the 535-125 reaching 12.5 m at 3,500 kg. Extended-reach lifting for formwork, precast, steel erection support and material handling on rough ground where a forklift cannot work and a crane is not justified.

Rated capacity on a telehandler falls as the boom extends and the load moves away from the machine. Figures above are maximums — dispatch confirms the working capacity for your specific height and radius against the unit's load chart.
Application
What we deploy telehandlers for
Formwork handling
Lifting and positioning shuttering, panels and falsework at slab and column level.
Precast placement
Setting precast units and blockwork pallets where crane time is scarce or uneconomic.
Steel erection support
Feeding sections, purlins and cladding to erection crews working at height.
Material distribution
Moving palletised material across rough site ground and lifting it to working levels.
Reach over obstacles
Placing loads beyond an excavation, barrier or established structure that blocks direct access.
Site logistics
Offloading deliveries and keeping the material chain moving without tying up a mobile crane.
Selection
Which unit for the lift?
Renting short on reach costs more in standing time than the rate difference between the two ever saves.
Choose the 540-170
Reach above 12 metres
Upper-floor placement, tall structural steel and any lift where 12.5 m will not clear it. 4,000 kg maximum, 2,500 kg still available at full height.
Choose the 535-125
Under 12 metres, tighter sites
A more compact machine for the same everyday handling work. 3,500 kg maximum and easier to place on constrained plots.
Choose a crane
Height or load beyond the chart
Lift height, radius or load weight exceeds what a telehandler load chart permits. We will tell you when this is the case.
Telehandler rental questions
What can a telehandler do that a forklift cannot?
A telehandler extends its boom forward and upward, so it can place material at height and reach over obstacles while working on rough, unprepared ground. A standard forklift is limited to near-vertical lifting on a level surface.
What attachments are available?
Both units run the JCB Q-fit self-levelling carriage, which accepts pallet forks, jibs, buckets and the wider JCB attachment range. Specify the attachment and the lift requirement when you enquire so the correct unit and carriage are allocated.
How do I confirm lift height and capacity?
The 540-170 reaches 16.7 m with a 4,000 kg maximum and still carries 2,500 kg at full height. The 535-125 reaches 12.5 m with a 3,500 kg maximum. Capacity falls as the boom extends and the load moves away from the machine, so send dispatch your required height, load weight and working radius and we will confirm against the unit's load chart rather than the headline figure.
Are telehandler operators supplied?
Yes. Certified operators are available, and operator licensing is included in the compliance pack that travels with every machine.
How do I check current telehandler availability?
Call or WhatsApp dispatch on +971 56 546 3897 with your dates, lift height and load weight, and we will confirm whether a 540-170 or 535-125 is free. Telehandler availability moves quickly, so live confirmation is more useful than a published list.
Confirm a telehandler for your lift
Send lift height, load weight, radius and dates — we will confirm a 540-170 or 535-125 against the load chart.
